Erhardt & Warnell was established in 1994 by Julie Erhardt & Laurence Warnell and has been based in Eton, Berkshire since its inception. The company now also operates from its additional office which opened in Ascot, Berkshire on 16th May 2006. Erhardt & Warnell offers both residential and commercial property services to clients not only locally but throughout England and Wales.

As a firm of Licensed Conveyancers the company is regulated by The Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) and are on the panels of all the major banks and building societies. The company has over the last few years introduced the latest technology available to enhance efficiency and client service and will continue to do so, ensuring procedures are up-to-date in the fast moving world of property law.

KEY PERSONNEL

Julie Erhardt

Julie began her conveyancing career in the North of England qualifying as a Legal Executive in 1970. She qualified as a licensed conveyancer in 1994 and with Laurence Warnell set up the Erhardt & Warnell partnership. Julie deals with all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing from the company’s office in Eton.  She lives in Dorney with her husband, has two children and three grandchildren. She also loves travelling and entertaining.

Laurence Warnell

After obtaining a Business Law Degree and passing the Law Society’s Final Examination in 1989 Laurence was admitted as a solicitor on the 3rd June 1991. Having worked for Willmetts in their Reading and Windsor offices Laurence then left to form Erhardt & Warnell alongside Julie with the doors opening on the 1st November 1994. Laurence handles both residential and commercial property transactions and is now based in the firm’s new office in Ascot.  Laurence lives in Windsor with his wife Rachel and their twin sons.  He is a keen golfer and ex-rugby player. He also enjoys good restaurants, travelling and running.

Marina Beilby

Marina has nearly 30 years experience in the legal profession. Initially employed as a receptionist for a firm of solicitors in the South West of England she worked her way up to the position of Legal Assistant in the ensuing 15 years. Marina relocated to Windsor in 1989 and joined Charsley Harrison as Assistant to a Senior Partner. She made the move to Erhardt & Warnell in 1995 and has assisted Julie Erhardt for the last 13 years.  Marina lives in Windsor with her husband and 2 children and enjoys yoga, family outdoor pursuits and spending time at their Villa in Spain.

Carmen Chimes

Carmen’s legal career spans over 30 years beginning in 1974 when she was employed as a receptionist for Rowberry Morris & Co in Crowthorne. She left Rowberry Morris in 1989 and joined Willmett & Co in Windsor where she worked as secretary to Laurence Warnell. Following Laurence’s departure in 1994 to set up Erhardt & Warnell with Julie, Carmen joined Harris & Cartwright in Slough where she first worked as a secretary/PA and then as a fee earner.Carmen joined Harris & Cartwright in Slough where she first worked as a secretary/PA and then as a fee earner. She left Harris Cartier, as it is now known, in November 2005 and joined Erhardt & Warnell as Laurence's secretary/PA. Carmen lives in Crowthorne with her husband David and enjoys socialising, sunshine and fine wines.  Their two children have flown the nest.
