If you are purchasing a leasehold property there is usually payable a fee for serving a Notice of Transfer & Charge to the Management Company and/or Freeholder. These vary and we will advise you of the cost when known.

If the property you are purchasing is a new build then additional costs may be payable for example the Developer’s solicitors document engrossment fees. You will be advised of these when known.

If your transaction requires additional work that is not included in these estimates you will be informed of this and what the additional costs will be at the earliest possible time. Matters typically exceed the quoted fee when they are particularly complicated, some examples are shown below (please note, this is not an exhaustive list) :
